Russell T. Davies believes that the forthcoming Doctor Who special 'Planet Of The Dead' will serve as an "antidote" to recent adventures.
The departing showrunner told Doctor Who Magazine: "After the events of 'Journey's End' and 'The Next Doctor' I think it's time to get away from the past and have an adventure with lots of new elements. And lots of fun too!
"The next Special should be a nice antidote to Christmas, with a bit of sunshine if we're lucky. And with not one but two alien races that you've never seen before."

Russell T.Davies croit que le prochain Doctor Who spécial "Planet of the Dead" servira d'"antidote" aux récentes aventures.
Le scénariste, parti à présent, raconte au Doctor Who Magazine : "Après les évènements de "Journey's End" et de "The Next Doctor", je pense qu'il temps de se détacher du passé et d'avoir un aventure avec énormément de nouveaux élèments. Et plus de fun aussi ! Le prochain spécial devrait être un bon antidote à celui de Noël, avec un peu de soleil si nous avons de la chance. Et non pas avec un mais deux races extraterrestres que vous n'avez jamais vu avant !"
